Buzd Terms and Conditions

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, using Buzd, entering a challenge, connecting a third-party service, or using wallet, store, match, or reward features, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Buzd.

2. Accounts

• You are responsible for keeping your login details secure.
• You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
• You may not impersonate another person or create accounts for fraudulent, abusive, or unlawful purposes.
• Buzd may suspend or remove accounts that violate these Terms or create risk for the platform or other users.

3. Fitness and Health Disclaimer

Buzd provides fitness challenge and social features. Buzd is not medical advice, health advice, or a substitute for a healthcare professional. You are responsible for deciding whether a challenge, activity, or exercise is suitable for you. Stop any activity if you feel unwell and seek medical advice when appropriate.

4. Challenges and Activity Tracking

• Challenge entry, progress, completion, rewards, and leaderboard results depend on app data, device data, Health Connect, Apple Health, Strava, and other connected services.
• Activity data may be delayed, incomplete, duplicated, unavailable, or rejected if permissions, device services, third-party services, or network connections fail.
• You may not falsify, manipulate, duplicate, or submit misleading activity data.
• Buzd may review, adjust, reject, remove, or disqualify challenge entries, rewards, or results where misuse, fraud, technical error, or rule violations are suspected.

5. Paid Challenges, Wallet, Store, and Rewards

• Wallet balances, points, match tokens, premium status, and store rewards are in-app features and may be subject to availability, eligibility, verification, and platform rules.
• Paid challenge entry fees, reward allocation, minimum participant rules, and challenge status are governed by the challenge details shown in the app.
• Pending paid watch challenges may become active when the start time is reached and minimum participant requirements are met. If minimum requirements are not met, a challenge may be removed or cancelled.
• Withdrawals may require accurate banking details, verification, fraud checks, and processing time.
• Buzd may correct balances or transaction records where there is error, misuse, chargeback, fraud, or technical failure.

6. User Content and Conduct

You are responsible for content you upload, submit, or share, including profile information, images, challenge content, messages, and establishment requests. You agree not to post unlawful, harmful, abusive, misleading, infringing, explicit, or unsafe content. Buzd may remove content or restrict accounts that breach these Terms.

7. Social and Match Features

Buzd may include followers, following, match tokens, profile visibility, contact-sharing, and related social features. You are responsible for interactions with other users. Do not harass, spam, threaten, exploit, or misuse another user's information.

8. Third-Party Services

Buzd integrates with services such as Firebase, Google Cloud, Google Maps, Google Places, Strava, Health Connect, Apple Health, and app store services. Third-party services are governed by their own terms and policies. Buzd is not responsible for outages, data errors, permission changes, or actions by third-party services.

9. Location and Establishments

Map, live location, and establishment features are provided for convenience and may not always be accurate, complete, or available. You are responsible for your own safety and decisions when visiting locations or participating in location-based activities.

10. Intellectual Property

Buzd, its name, branding, design, app content, software, and related materials are owned by Buzd or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, distribute, sell, or exploit the app or its content except as allowed by law or with written permission.

11. Availability and Changes

Buzd may change, suspend, remove, or discontinue features, challenges, rewards, wallet features, store items, integrations, or the app at any time. We may update these Terms when the service changes.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, Buzd is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for losses arising from fitness activity, user conduct, third-party services, unavailable features, incorrect data, or unauthorized account access.

13. Termination

You may stop using Buzd at any time. Buzd may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, misuse the service, create legal or security risk, or if continued access is no longer commercially or technically feasible.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are intended to be governed by the laws applicable to Buzd's operating location, unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your location require otherwise.

15. Privacy

Your use of Buzd is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how personal information is collected and used.
